Fruit in small packaging containers, such as trays or baskets, have multiplied.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As it appeared in several articles published by packaging magazines, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infopack.es\/\"><u>Infopack\u00a0<\/u><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecnoalimen.com\/noticias\/20170927\/envasado-individual-fruta-consolida#.WeXsWTBx3IU\"><u>Tecnoalimen<\/u><\/a><u>,<\/u> the reasons for this rapid change are diverse. However, we can highlight several of these reasons, such as <strong>the desire companies have to create and strenghten consumer\u2019s brand awareness; to improve fruit\u2019s appearance and conservation<\/strong>, avoiding damages to the product and unnecessary manipulation; and above all, <strong>the desire to offer a &#8220;premium&#8221; or quality image<\/strong>, that appears attractive in the store\u2019s shelves. These reasons are powerful enough to have persuaded big and medium fruit producers and marketers, that see in this change a business opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>This business opportunity is strongly related to the quality image of the fruits that is strongly coveted by all companies. To a great degree, <strong>this image depends on the type of packaging used<\/strong>. As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lavanguardia.com\/vida\/20170427\/422089460526\/el-70-de-los-consumidores-opina-que-los-envases-de-carton-son-los-mas-sostenibles-segun-el-barometro-de-afco.html\"><u>consumer preferences and sectorial studies have repeatedly shown<\/u><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lavanguardia.com\/vida\/20170427\/422089460526\/el-70-de-los-consumidores-opina-que-los-envases-de-carton-son-los-mas-sostenibles-segun-el-barometro-de-afco.html\"><\/a> the most popular packaging is the <a href=\"https:\/\/transpackgroup.com\/en\/cardboard-food-packaging\/cardboard-baskets\/\"><u>baskets or trays made of cardboard<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cardboard packaging is quality packaging<\/strong>, and it provides a great support for printing, personalising and otherwise adapting the container. Furthermore, this type of packaging <strong>is also one of the most sustainable packaging alternatives<\/strong>.
